ADIPS is piloting digital inspections of fairground rides with a view to rolling out the system across all inspections in 2017.

The Polestar system allows inspectors to digitally capture inspection findings and results using a mobile application and improves the standard of inspection reports and reduces time from inspection to delivery of inspection reports to the ride controller, as the report can be completed and issued on site.  The system will give ADIPS real time information on who carried out the inspection, the location of the inspection and the defects found.
