ADIPS is proud to be holding its IB Conference 2026 at Pleasure Beach Resort Blackpool on Thursday 1st October. The Annual Inspection Body Conference will be held at the Boulevard Hotel (BLVD) which is the onsite hotel for the park.

The Amusement Devices Inspection Procedures Scheme (ADIPS) is proud to be returning to Blackpoll Pleasure Beach Resort at the Boulevard Hotel for its annual inspection body conference. The 2026 conference will be particularly informative for our inspection bodies with the re-write of HSE175 now upon us, plus with UKAS journey and the new DOC process due in 2027. It will be a must-attend for the engineers within the industry.

Speakers/subjects for the main conference include:
- HSE – 175, industry updates.
- RKMS (the ADIPS auditors),
- UKAS update report for IBs,
- The new 2027 DOC process, what it means to IB’s.

ADIPS IB Conference 2026
IOSH Working Safety course.
PLUS, strictly by application will be hosting an IOSH Working Safety course. The day will be held either the day before or after the conference. Demand will depict which of these dates apply. This is being ran at cost and attendance is strictly limited. Attendees will receive an IOSH certificate afterwards. Apply separately to the ADIPS office for details.
Plus-Plus, Information about a new training initiative for IB’s in conjunction with Blackpool and The Fyde College with apprenticeship possibilities within our industry.
The end of the conference has the opportunity for attendees to receive a tour of Pleasure Beach Resort to visit their new £8.5 million Aviktas pendulum ride for you to view, listen about and if you are brave ride!
