9 July 2025 :  Official statement from ADIPS Ltd. regarding DMG Technical Ltd and issued DOCs (Declaration of Operational Compliance) certificates.

A disciplinary meeting of DMG Technical Limited and David Geary (the person) with ADIPS took place on 14th May 2025.

The outcome of the meeting was as follows:

  • David Geary the person and inspector, was required to resign from DMG Technical Ltd. in all capacities including Director and Inspector.
  • DMG Technical Ltd, the organisation will remain removed from the ADIPS Scheme. The company has the opportunity to represent itself in a new application to ADIPS for re-assessment to determine the fitness to operate in any capacity. The assessment will be rigorous and will ultimately require the submission to a UKAS level independent QMS audit, gaining the required marking grades. In addition, an onsite witness inspection will also be required and a probationally period will also be part of any reapplication process. To date ADIPS are unaware of the intentions of DMG Technical Ltd. and they remain removed from the register.
  • Existing DMG Technical Ltd. DOCs – All DMG DOCs issued before 14th May 2025 with a non-expired expiry date remain in force and rides can operate with the public. This decision has been made in collaboration and support of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
  • ADIPS recommend that all controllers undertake a retest upon DOC expiry with another ADIPS registered Inspection Body. These can be found on the ADIPS website under ‘find an inspector’. If any controller has any uncertainty regarding a DMG inspection they are recommended to seek the advice of another ADIPS Inspection body whom can give reassurance or offer an additional inspection.
  • Controllers Insurance schedules remain valid with a DMG Technical DOCs meeting the conditions detailed above.
